Welcome to My Darkness
"Come and have a seat", I'll say
And you place yourself in front of me
I'll lean a little forward, and knit my brows
and you'll be amazed that you're not able to see my iris
I open my mouth and in the flash of my fangs
the bottom of your chair falls out and you drop out of the World
Dark bluish black rings of fog only seperated by the distant rumble
The muddy forest ground is champingly giving way
for your escape between thousand year old trees'
first encounter with the purest form of human existence
The first raindrops hit your forehead and wash the dirt out of your hair
The clouds gather
and give birth to their first child of fire with a birth cry like the crashing of worlds
The trees are standing white like gypsum columns
just to disappear into even deeper darkness a second later
The sky rips and as bluish green fog rings fall out of the holes you feel the Animal behind you
Your lungs are singing, barefooted over muddy stones
and the hush of the forest rises to a roar as lights flicker over the sky
You fall but don't notice the pain paralyzing your limbs like a skolding of ice
Muddy water in the mouth and the Animal breathing down your neck
Running on like a blind being blinded by the twilight of the Gods
In the sky, on the Earth and under it
The forest ends like a brownish green line in all the blackness
and you stand on top of the cliff with a void of nothingness in front of you
White raindrops show the way, Hell touches you and the Animal roars
You turn around and see its grotesque features, its unearthly body
And you see my eyes.
The sky is ripped by a bolt of light which for a second lights up the brink of the forest
and a wall of mud behind it
and the stare of the Animal pushes you willinglessly over the edge
All is silence
and you fall an infinity
You look up at my silhuet
which in the shape of a black arrow closes the door to the brightest of lights
and as Menja breaks the grinding mill you hear my whisper close to your ear:
"Welcome to my darkness"
